To make this research possible we can rely on the infrastructure of the department of Product Development. Their in-house 3D printers can be used for prototyping, e.g. for verification.

        

In addition, the CADANS consortium also has access to sever al 3D scanners such as the Artec Eva 3D scanner. These scanners can be used to collect 3D scans from a specific body part and population allowing us to build statistical models that can be loaded in the CADANS plugin.
